Local Fire Department Responds to Series of Incidents Over Holiday Weekend
During the 4th of July weekend, the local fire department was kept busy with a series of calls ranging from false alarms to actual fires, according to official reports. Starting in the early hours of July 4th, Engine 43 responded to two false fire alarms caused by faulty detectors at 3:34 am and again at 4:42 am. Later that evening, at 8:52 pm, Squad 41 and Truck 42 handled a dumpster fire, finding the container fully engulfed upon arrival.
