Habitat for Humanity of Franklin County is pleased to announce an expansion to our staff as the organization continues to grow. Newly hired Alan Lane will focus on top-level administration and strategic planning as Executive Director. Mark Story has been associated with Habitat since 2009 and helped to open the ReStore in 2015. He will focus on development and fundraising as Director of Advancement. Justin Hoke will continue as Operations Manager and Les Clugston as the ReStore Manager. Justin, Les, and Mark have a combined 30 years of history with Habitat. Board President Doug Hess said, “Mark initiated these changes and came to our board requesting a more specific set of responsibilities that would allow him to work primarily out in the community. Adding Alan to the team right-sizes our affiliate staff for leadership and growth.” Alan Lane is from the Shippensburg area (Franklin County) and has over 15 years of nonprofit leadership experience with a background in administration and strategic planning. In his own words, Alan says, “I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to join Habitat for Humanity of Franklin County and look forward to working with the team to continue its vital mission. By partnering with the community, we can empower families and create lasting change through homeownership, helping to ensure everyone has a safe and affordable place to live.”
