Franklin County took advantage of 10 walks and added timely hitting to defeat Toccoa 12-4 Wednesday night in the district 7 10U baseball tournament in Oglethorpe County. Franklin County scored multiple runs in each inning but the sixth. Rhett Davison had three hits for Franklin County and five different players provided RBI’s. Hayden Harvey pitched 4 and 1/3 innings to get the win for Franklin County who now advances to the championship round on Thursday night vs. Elbert County.
