Law enforcement advocate for location sharing apps in case of emergency
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Accidents happen all the time, and if you have a tool right there then why not use it?. Bowling Green Police Department and Warren County Sheriff’s Office spoke to News 40 about iPhone alerts and app notifications like Life360 that can really come in handy when in an emergency situation. When there’s a hard stop or a strong impact to the phone, law enforcement will receive coordinates as to where the phone is which can help if you happen to be off the main road or can’t get to your phone to call help for yourself.
Former Hilltopper Kyree King set to compete in 2024 Paris Olympics
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Former WKU Track and Field athlete Kyree King will represent Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics, as a part of the 4x100 meter relay pool for Team USA. King competed for the Hilltoppers from 2015-16. “Anytime a former Hilltopper can make it to the Olympics, we feel a great sense of pride,” WKU Track and Field head coach Brent Chumbley said on the accomplishment. “We wish Kyree the best as he competes for Team USA.”

WRECC celebrates members with annual meeting
