Gulf Coast Rip Current Forecast for Louisiana Beachgoers
So many people from South Louisiana will be traveling I-10 in the next day or two for their Fourth of July celebrations and they'll soon be on their favorite beach. For the Fourth, beachgoers from across Acadiana will want to cool off or relax in places like Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Pensacola, and Destin, Florida. Sadly, we've had several reports of drownings already this summer and the gulf may be a bit unfriendly days after Independence Day.
Peyton Manning is high on LSU’s Garrett Nussmeier entering 2024 season
Recently LSU starting quarterback Garrett Nussmeier participated in the Manning Passing Academy at Nicholls State University and he finished as one of the top 10 players at the academy. The camp is hosted by former NFL quarterbacks Archie, Peyton and Eli Manning. Archie and Eli were legends at Ole Miss while Peyton was the contrarian and he was a legend on Rocky Top for Tennessee. All three were successful quarterbacks in the NFL and Peyton and Eli even went on to combine for four total Super Bowl wins.
