'Coolest' Airbnb in North Carolina Comes with a Natural Waterfall Slide

If you want a summer vacation alternative to a beach visit, consider instead an escape to the mountains for a serene cabin getaway!

Of course, I'm not talking about just renting any old cabin in the woods: I'm talking about staying somewhere where you can still "make a splash" without all the crowds and chaos. Enter this gorgeous mountain Airbnb from western North Carolina, which comes with a very cool perk: its own private natural waterslide!

Forget waiting in long lines and splashing down into dirty, overchlorinated water just for a trip down the waterslide: this cabin's awesome waterfall delivers water park-style fun au naturel. This incredible Airbnb find got a shout-out from TikTok user @reaganibach , who called this mountain retreat "the coolest Airbnb ever." A Superb Smoky Mountains Getaway

Reagan was a champ and didn't gatekeep her awesome getaway. She shared the details in a follow-up video so other summer vacationers could enjoy the same awesome experience she did. This is Kindling Falls in Franklin, NC - and the 60-foot natural waterslide is only the tip of the iceberg.

First off, this would be the perfect spot for a family reunion, bachelor(ette) party, or other big getaway. While Reagan's family only had seven people, Kindling Falls can sleep up to 20. According to Kindling Falls' Airbnb listing (yes, there is an Airbnb listing, though Reagan's mom booked through the official Kindling Falls website ), the cabin has five bedrooms, all of which have king or queen-sized beds and waterfront decks, along with an office loft space with a twin daybed .

As for fun extra amenities, well... Kindling Falls would still be a winner even if the waterslide and 14-foot-deep watering hole were its only fun "perks," but they're not. There's also that beautiful spa room with an indoor waterfall and a huge hot tub that seats up to 10 people. According to Airbnb, it also has a game room with bumper pool, darts, and other fun games for a night inside. And if things get a little chilly at night, guests can gather around the enormous two-story wood-burning fireplace in the den, or build a bonfire under the stars in the firepit.

Located in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains , about an hour and fifteen minutes' drive southwest of Asheville, this incredible property is the perfect summertime mountain getaway. The bad news is, it probably won't be your summertime getaway this year. On Airbnb, the property is booked solid until this October. Reagan's family just happened to get very lucky with their one-night opening! I'm sure this place would be stunning in the fall, especially with all the surrounding foliage, but it might be a little too cold to take advantage of that natural waterslide (unless you're up for a polar plunge).
