Troopers were called to the area of Ganges Five Points Road in Franklin Township just after 4 p.m. for reports of a crash involving a Harley-Davidson and a minivan. The 45-year-old driver of the motorcycle was found on the side of the road and transported to Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital where he was pronounced dead, OSHP said.

Upon further investigation, troopers learned, the 38-year-old driver of the Dodge Grand Caravan was going northbound on Ganges Five Points Road when he “failed to yield at a stop sign and was struck within the intersection” by the motorcyclist.

No other injuries were reported in the crash and an investigation is ongoing.

The motorcyclist was identified as Paul Huffman of Shiloh.
