Frost Factory at Austin Landing defines cold with its boozy slushies and other drinks
The Frost Factory, a boutique bar with boozy slushies, cocktails and shots, is now open at Austin Landing. Jamie Gregory, who owns the bar with her husband Kei, opened their flagship location in 2020 at the Liberty Center in Liberty Twp. She recalled being in Texas for one of her son’s basketball tournaments and going to a hole-in-the-wall daiquiri bar. That’s where the idea to open a bar with boozy slushies came about.
USS Cincinnati submarine finds home at Voice of America Park
WEST CHESTER, Ohio (WKRC) - A piece of Navy history has found a permanent home in Greater Cincinnati and it has a special connection to the Tri-State. The USS Cincinnati Memorial Peace Pavilion will be at Voice of America (VOA) Park in West Chester. The USS Cincinnati (SSN-693) was a nuclear-powered submarine that launched in 1977 and patrolled the depths of the oceans until it was decommissioned in 1996.
