Franklin, Tennessee is hosting its second-annual Summer Bash on Saturday, July 20, and a handful of American Idol and The Voice alums will be headlining the concert event. It will take place at The Factory at Franklin‘s Liberty Hall starting at 6:30 p.m., with music kicking off at 7:30 p.m.

The lineup is looking good, with a slew of contestants from American Idol‘s 22nd season set to take the stage. Franklin native Quintavious Johnson, who was in the Top 24, will be there, as well as third-place finisher Jack Blocker.

Other American Idol contestants making an appearance include McKenna Breinholt, Kaibrienne, KAYKO, and Mia Matthews. Additionally, Maddi Jane from The Voice will also perform.

Tickets for the event are $25 in advance and $35 the day of the event. According to The News Tennessee, there are also VIP tickets available. These include early admission and meet and greets with the performers, among other perks. The event has an Instagram profile where fans can receive updates and further details, as well as a website to purchase tickets.

American Idol Alums Head to Franklin, While the Show is Still Deliberating Who Will Take Katy Perry’s Place

The American Idol judge replacement saga continues. Now, the show is honing in on a former The Voice coach in the hopes that she will take Katy Perry’s place at the table. The show is looking firmly at Miley Cyrus for the job, and fans are hoping the decision happens soon.

Fellow judge Luke Bryan has said that the show is looking at Cyrus, along with Meghan Trainor and Pink. However, a recent report from Life&Style with a source close to the negotiations claims that it could all come down to money. Allegedly, Perry had an “enormous paycheck” that increased with each season of the show.

“Nobody expects Miley to do this cheaply, but nobody at the network wants to pay Katy prices for Katy’s replacement,” said the source, who was not named. However, the source did state that Cyrus does genuinely like being on competition shows.

“Miley really does love the competition space,” said the source. “She has a lot more fun judging and mentoring than she has in her various forays into acting as an adult. And she also knows her fans actually show up to watch her on these shows.”
