Murfreesboro Teen Injured in Fiery Crash
NELSON COUNTY, KENTUCKY - Early on July 20, 2024, at approximately 1:45 AM, the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office in Kentucky responded to a serious accident near the 32-mile marker on the eastbound side of the Bluegrass Parkway. Dispatch informed deputies en route that a vehicle had struck a tree and was on fire.
Vigil held for 7-year-old allegedly drowned by mom
HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A vigil was held Saturday night to remember 7-year-old Piper Elliott. Earlier this week Piper died after a drowning in Drakes Creek. Police said her mother, Brandi Elliott, told them she was having a rough day and her daughter wouldn’t leave her alone. The arrest report said Elliott told her daughter to “be quiet” as she held her underwater. She later tried to revive her with CPR. Piper died later at the hospital.
