COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - State health officials are warning the public about a danger that could be lurking in our bodies of water. Toxic algae, also known as blue-green algae, thrives in warm, standing or slowly moving waters -- or in other words, lakes and reservoirs in the summer in Colorado.
