no just throw it on the f****** Grill on the top rack like I do get some cast iron pans put it underneath the bacon to catch the grease so it doesn't flare up and f****** Grill I'm telling you that bacon will be f****** perfect especially works on thick bacon the thicker the better I typically get mine about 3 to 4 mm thick
