Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-TX) said voting for Vice President Kamala Harris would bring the “lawlessness” seen in California to every city and town in the nation. Hunt cited the “defund the police” movement during the summer of 2020, which gained momentum shortly after the death of George Floyd. The Texas congressman referenced how Harris and […]
A Kamala Harris administration would deliver more bad healthcare policy
The passing of the baton from President Joe Biden to Vice President Kamala Harris, and more recently, the choice of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as Harris’s running mate, is certainly shaking up the November election. But beyond reshuffling the political horse race, a Harris-Walz administration wouldn’t change much. It would just mean more of the […]

Tim Walz’s China ties fuel GOP attacks he’ll go soft on foreign adversary
Republicans are doubling down on accusations that Gov. Tim Walz’s (D-MN) long history with China presents political liabilities for the Democratic vice presidential candidate to take on the foreign adversary should he be elevated to the White House. As a 1989 college graduate and Army National Guard member, Walz embarked to China through a Harvard […]

The Pittsburgh Steelers Will Trade Russell Wilson to the Minnesota Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings saw their star rookie quarterback, JJ McCarthy, undergo meniscus surgery on Wednesday. This procedure will force McCarthy to miss the entire 2024 season. McCarthy, who had been competing with Sam Darnold during training camp, showed a lot of promise early in camp and the preseason. Even if Darnold were to start in Week 1, it seemed likely that McCarthy would eventually take over. However, with McCarthy sidelined, Darnold now has another opportunity to revitalize his career. Initially, Darnold was signed as an insurance policy, with the Vikings fully aware they would draft a quarterback in the first round. What they couldn’t have predicted was that their top pick would be unable to play in a single meaningful game this season.

I've been waiting years for some road relief, and while it's not coming to the St. Cloud area, at least in terms of a new freeway, the state of Minnesota is looking at converting a highway in the North Metro into the newest freeway. The move would eliminate stoplights and add over or underpasses for those intersections.
