An Upcoming Fredericksburg Inn, The Albert Hotel, Will Boast a Texas BBQ Joint

The Albert Hotel — an upcoming “honest Hill Country getaway” backed by the New Waterloo hospitality company — plans to debut in Fredericksburg.

Coming to 213 East Austin Street , the inn will land near establishments such as Kaffee Haus, Sage Restaurant & Lounge, and Vaudeville.

In addition to “110 guest rooms, a sunken pool, a full-service spa, [and] event spaces,” the retreat will boast three restaurants and two bars, according to Austin Eater — one of which is Junebug’s , “a classic Texas backyard bbq joint, fondly named for + led by New Waterloo’s head of F&B and lowkey award-winning brisketier Justin Spencer ,” as described in a New Waterloo Instagram post.

What Now San Antonio reached out to Spencer to inquire about the concept, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
