FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - It was an uncharacteristically gloomy 4th with occasional showers/drizzle. This, paired with sky-high humidity and highs near 80º made it feel positively tropical! While that part of the forecast won’t be changing much tonight for the many fireworks displays in store, showers and cloud coverage will decrease as the evening progresses. Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio will be free from any relentless rain or wind after sunset, even if an isolated shower/pop up can’t be completely ruled out due to the aforementioned humid conditions.
