Several dropoff locations will take ballots in Surprise
It's too late to mail back ballots for the July 30 primary, but Surprise voters will have several city locations to drop off their ballots between now and Tuesday. Surprise City Hall is open daily as a ballot dropoff center and will be open at 7 a.m. on election day for in-person voting.

Two Mexican gray wolves have found their way into the forest near Flagstaff, but federal authorities plan to interrupt their road trip. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced Thursday that it intends to capture the endangered animals and move them back into the federally designated Mexican Wolf Experimental Population Area, which covers a vast swath of eastern Arizona and western New Mexico south of Interstate 40.

Ann and Bill Gray were playing Capital Canyon Club in Prescott, Arizona, on July 10 when they got to the 16th hole during their afternoon round. That’s where the magic happened. With two more golfers in their foursome as witnesses, the Grays celebrated their round in the best way possible, as each of them made an ace. Capital Canyon Club is a private Tom Weiskopf design which has become kinda famous for producing aces. The crew at Breaking Par featured the course a while back after ace after ace was recorded at the layout.
