Bluejays earn 5th straight win on the road against Titans
Coming off a record-setting Homecoming win is a tough task, but the Waseca Bluejays football team did just fine as it won on the road for its fifth straight win. The Bluejays traveled to Montgomery to take on the Tri-City United Titans Friday night. They scored their most points of the season against the Titans as they won with ease 42-7. The win against the Titans was the Bluejays' last road game of the season, as their last two games will be at home, starting with their game agains the Albert Lea Tigers on Friday night. The 38th annual Big Island Rendezvous & Festival began Thursday morning with students from area schools visiting the historical reenactment and spending the day learning about the past. Many different schools were represented at this event. A few of them included Owatonna Middle School, Medford Public School, Pacelli Catholic School in Austin and even local homeschool groups.
