Cañon City man suspected in drive-by shooting formally charged
The Cañon City man suspected of committing a drive-by shooting July 24 was formally charged in Fremont County District Court on Wednesday. Andrew Seymour, 34, who is currently on parole in two unrelated cases, has been charged with illegal discharge of a firearm, a Class 5 felony; menacing, a Class 5 felony; possession of a weapon by a previous offender, a Class 5 felony; criminal possession of a forged Instrument, a Class 6 felony; criminal mischief, a Class 1 misdemeanor; and unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a Class 1 drug misdemeanor.
