Man pleads ‘no contest’ for gross indecency involving 10-year-old girl
HART — A 41-year-old Holland man pleaded “no contest” to gross indecency between a male and female in Oceana County’s 51st Circuit Court Monday, July 15. Christopher Matthew Kubacki committed gross indecency involving a 10-year-old girl at a local hotel. Kubacki will serve 13 months to five years in prison and must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, said Oceana County Prosecuting Attorney Joseph Bizon.
Kent County Sheriff's Office continues search for missing girl
The Kent County Sheriff’s Office sent deputies to the Rockford area over the weekend conducting searches for anything related to the whereabouts of Penelope Wise. Police say 17-year-old Penelope Wise, also known as Penny, voluntarily left her Cedar Springs home on foot at 6 p.m. on May 31st. It is believed she traveled from Cedar Springs to Rockford, as surveillance video from Rockford Park Drive near Northland Drive shows Penny walking along the road.
