What is The Polar Express Train Ride?

The Polar Express Train Ride is based on the 2004 movie "The Polar Express," and takes place at the French Lick Scenic Railway in French Lick, according to the railway's website. The 80-minute outing allows passengers to "relive the magic of the classic story" by playing the movie soundtrack, having the conductor punch tickets prior to hot cocoa and cookies and reading the children's book "The Polar Express" while traveling "through a rail yard, neighborhoods, and through a tunnel on the way to The North Pole."

Santa and his Elves will also be aboard, giving passengers their first gift of the season, a silver sleigh bell. On the way back from the North Pole, Elves will lead passengers in caroling and other entertainment. Learn more here.
