For years, Leadwood residents have had to deal with less-than-desirable water which has been described as stinky, bad tasting and the wrong color. Last year, welcome news was given that the City of Leadwood had received a U.S.D.A. Development Grant for a little more than $3.3 million, a U.S.D.A. Development Loan for a little more than $2.1 million and a Community Development of $750,000, all to be used to improve the town’s water.
