MERCED, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Former Fresno State linebacker Levelle Bailey is getting his shot in the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Denver Broncos. Bailey heads to his first NFL training camp as a rookie this Wednesday.

During his final season as a Bulldog, Bailey recorded 82 tackles with five TFL, 2.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, three interceptions and five pass breakups.

Bailey said Broncos head coach Sean Payton was a big reason why he decided to sign with Denver.

“Feel like I’m in a great spot right now. Coach Sean Payton really believes in me. I’m always learning. Its a new experience being a young guy coming from being the old guy in school. I’m trying to learn and get up to speed” said Bailey.
