This new fried chicken restaurant is coming to Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – There is good news for fried chicken lovers in Fresno -The Red Chickz, a fried chicken restaurant from Southern California, is opening a new location in Fresno.

Officials of the restaurant say they are best known for their Nashville-style hot chicken sandwiches, tenders and more. They say their chicken is prepared with dry rub only, bringing out the flavor and “taking the heat to another level.”

Their new location will be at 3250 N Blackstone Ave., Unit #106 in Fresno. According to officials, the restaurant’s grand opening date will be on Aug. 10 from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m.

As part of their grand opening, officials say there will be two promotions in place: the first 200 people will get a free Honey Butter Sandwich and there will be $10 Sandwich Combos for the rest of the day.
