Free backpack drive happening in Fresno at this location

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Santé is hosting their 4th Annual Backpack Drive on Thursday August 1st at their Santé location on Shaw and Palm avenues.

Teaming up with Cal Sierra Insurance, Santé says it have been providing donated backpacks to students and families before the start of the school year. They started taking donations for the past month and are now “grateful to be able to help the children in the community.”

The drive will begin at 9 a.m. and will end at 11 a.m. at 7370 North Palm Avenue and will provide one free backpack per child; but the child must be present.

The drive is just one of the community events that the Santé Health Foundation hosts to the public.
