Kay’s Asian Cuisine is set to become a new culinary gem in Friendswood , located at 501 S Friendswood Dr #140 . This vibrant new eatery, born from the passion of Co-Owners David and Kay Galindo , is gearing up to serve a tantalizing variety of Asian dishes to the community.

In an exclusive interview, David shared their journey toward bringing this dream to life. “We are working to lock down a contractor by next week,” David said. He also told What Now Houston that the concept is all Asian food, as it says in the name, but will incorporate a variety of cuisines as Kay is not partial to just one and loves all types. This inclusive approach ensures that patrons will enjoy a wide range of flavors, from pho and drunken noodles to curry, Asian-style lamb chops, and steaks.

Kay’s journey in the culinary world began with a food truck that offered a similar array of Asian dishes. “This has always been Kay’s dream to own a brick-and-mortar,” David explained. “I am very happy to help her achieve this.” In this new venture, Kay oversees the food and menu, while David handles the business side, bringing his extensive experience in safety consulting, construction, telecommunications, and his time in the Army to the table.

The menu, meticulously curated and ready to go, reflects their combined expertise and passion. The husband-wife duo are very excited about the dishes and ready to share them with their future customers.

With the grand opening on the horizon aimed for the end of September or beginning of October 2024, Kay’s dream-come-to-life is set to bring a rich tapestry of Asian flavors to Friendswood, promising an unforgettable dining experience for all who walk through their doors.
