Foley moves forward with plans to create entertainment district in historic downtown
FOLEY, Ala. (WPMI) — The entertainment district proposed for Foley could bring more business and activity to downtown without leading to problems with disruptive behavior. The Foley City Council approved a first reading of an ordinance to establish an entertainment district in the downtown area west of Alabama 59. The ordinance is scheduled for a final vote in August.

Chuck’s Fish is adding a bar and additional seating to the vacant space next door, with the expansion expected to be complete by the end of July. On the same block of Dauphin Street, Grace is also expanding, creating space for large gatherings, private events and general overflow seating when demand is high.
