Eggspectation Aiming For Fall Opening; Renderings of What to Expect
Back in January we let you know that Eggspectation, a restaurant that serves “elevated American cuisine with a lengthy all-day breakfast menu alongside hearty lunch and dinner fare”, is returning to Montgomery County with its upcoming Burtonsville location. We recently reported that the latest update from the restaurant revealed the goal of a fall 2024 opening, and now Burtonsville Crossing has released some renderings of what to expect (seen below).
Silver Spring Stage’s One-Act Festival continues tradition of inclusion
Silver Spring Stage’s One-Act Play Festival is an ambitiously inclusive undertaking. Playwrights getting their feet wet have an opportunity to see their work produced, and possibly developed, in a legitimate theatrical setting, with audiences. The format features two weekends’ worth of five or six plays, this year totalling 11. The five shows performed on the first weekend, August 2 to 4, 2024, were reviewed by DCTA’s Julian Oquendo.

Working on a road construction crew in the Brandywine area put Roderick Doughty of Glen Burnie in the right place at the right time to score a $50,000 top-prize FAST PLAY win. While on a break, the traffic manager visited the nearby Baden Grocery to buy Lottery games.
