Stolen cars, drugs, and guns found at Laurel Motel 6; four suspects arrested
Laurel (WBFF) — Four people were arrested last Thursday after police found them inside a Motel 6 in Laurel with drugs and weapons. Police say on July 11 around 9:00 p.m., officers found a stolen 2016 Honda Accord in the parking lot of the Motel 6 located at 3510 Old Annapolis Road in Laurel.
Woman Critical, Man Stable After Being Shot Inside Calvert County Home, Sheriff Says
Deputies were called shortly after 9:40 p.m. on Sunday, July 14 to the 1600 block of Mint Court in Prince Frederick, where there were reports of shots fired in the area. Paul O'Neal Killed In Motorcycle Crash In Calvert County
Lusby resident Paul O'Neal has been identified as the person killed shortly after 7 p.m. on July 14 after crashing in the area of Maryland Route 4 and Nursery Road. According to the Calvert County Sheriff's Office, a Dodge 3500 was heading north on the roadway when O'Neal - who witnesses reportedly said was riding at an excessive speed - failed to slow down and struck the back of the truck, ejecting him from the bike.
Applications Now Open for 2024 Maryland Bear Hunt Lottery
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources has announced that applications are now open for its annual black bear hunt. Per the news release: “Hunters can now enter the lottery selection process for the annual six-day black bear hunt in Western Maryland.
