Fall Bazaar to come to downtown Weiser this year
A new event is being added to Weiser’s downtown list of fun things to do with the Fall Bazaar. For many years it was held at Second Chance located on Hwy. 95, but will move into town in early October. Planning the event, Patrick Nauman says there will be a Kids Zone along with hundreds of vendors.

After two years, Chasidy Decker’s tiny home lawsuit against the city of Meridian has come to a close. On Tuesday, Judge Jason Scott ruled against Decker and Robert Calacal’s lawsuit, which challenged Meridian’s ban on tiny homes on wheels. Crews Battling new 800 Acre Lightning-Caused Wildfire in Nez Perce County
JULIAETTA - Firefighters are battling a new lightning-caused fire in Nez Perce County, located about 5 miles southwest of Juliaetta and just south of the Latah County line. The fire was sparked at around 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. According to Nez Perce Tribe Fire Management Officer Fire Jeff Handel, at about 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, the fire size was estimated at about 800 acres in size and no level of containment had been achieved.

ISLAND PARK — Two separate proposals for a private air park/airport and a hotel on the Henry’s Lake Flats are stirring deep controversy in the Island Park community.
