A global data center company has paid $318.5 million for a swath of south Fulton County woods, a stunning transaction and latest sign of a rush to secure prime sites for the billion-dollar campuses. <\p> An affiliate of Virginia-based EdgeConneX in early July acquired nearly 63 acres in Union City, according to property records. The seller was an affiliate of Boston-based real estate investment firm TA Realty. This week, TA Realty said it will partner with EdgeConneX to build a 324-megawatt data center on the property. <\p>
