ISP collaborates with local police for week-long 'saturation patrol,' leads to 70 arrests
FULTON COUNTY, Ind. -- The Indiana State Police (ISP) reports from June 14 to 20, they, in collaboration with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Rochester Police Department, Miami County Sheriff’s Office, Wabash County Sheriff’s Office, and Kokomo Police Department, conducted a saturated patrol, which they say was successful.

ROCHESTER — The Fulton County Council on Aging is the Fulton County Chamber of Commerce’s June Member of the Month. It’s celebrating its 50th year. Located at 625 Pontiac St., Rochester, the council offers activities for seniors, including: bingo on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays; chair volleyball on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; euchre and dominoes on Tuesdays; craft classes on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays; bridge on Thursdays; and chair yoga on Thursday mornings.

Drought might be over before it began for Michiana
Parts of Michiana picked up more rain on Wednesday, as a cold front brought additional showers and thunderstorms to the area. Thunderstorms with heavy downpours formed over Kosciusko and Fulton counties Wednesday afternoon, bringing rainfall to the areas that need it the most. Last week, drought conditions started to resurface across southeastern Michiana after weeks of hot weather and little rainfall.
