St. Louis Cardinals Show Off Possible Donald Trump-Inspired Home Run Celebration
After Alec Burleson hit a home run Sunday afternoon, players in the St. Louis Cardinals' dugout grabbed their ears and held up fists like Donald Trump did after getting shot last weekend.
FIRST WARN FORECAST: Chance for rain dwindles as heat returns
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Sunday turned out to be a spectacular day! Most of us were in the upper 70s and lower 80s in the afternoon. We do have a few isolated showers/thunderstorms that will be possible through early evening, but this activity is more miss than hit. Many of us will stay dry. If you are loving this cooler stretch, we do have one more day in the lower 80s before the temperatures climb later this week. Monday morning starts in the lower 60s, with lower 80s in the afternoon. There is another 20% chance for a pop-up shower or random rumble, but that is about it. No severe thunderstorm threat. The main weather story after Monday will be the gradual climb of temperatures back to late July standards. We are expecting mid-80s Tuesday and Wednesday with a return to the upper 80s by the end of this next week. Generally, no major heat is expected, but we could climb into the lower 90s for some next weekend. Moderate humidity could allow for it to feel slightly hotter than our actual air temperatures. There is no great chance of rain in the next week, so things could turn a little crispy through the end of July. Some of our computer models are hinting at a much hotter start to August.

Chiefs give biggest headache an intriguing lifeline
There's no need to rehash every instance over the past year and a half in which wide receiver Kadarius Toney has caused virtually everyone in or around the Kansas City Chiefs organization to pinch the bridge of their nose in dismay and pain. Of course, the most egregious incident was lining up offside against the Bills to nullify what would've been the game-winning touchdown pass on a trick play.

Weekend At Bernie: Good Times For Burleson, Tough Times For Goldschmidt, And Disappointing Times For Gray.
The Cardinals (as you know) split a doubleheader in Atlanta on Saturday. Not to be greedy here, but the visitors should have won both games. In the early game, the Redbirds let a 2-0 slip away to lose 3-2 in 10 innings. At least they rebounded for a 9-5 victory in the late game.
