N.Y. Lottery: 2 lucky winners take home $50K in third-prize Powerball tickets
There were two lucky winners recently in New York state who recently scored $50,000 with third-prize Powerball tickets. The New York Lottery announced the two winning tickets for the Aug. 21 drawing matched four white balls and the red Powerball. One prize-winning ticket each was sold at Moreno Brother’s, located at 9415 Astoria Blvd., in East Elmhurst, and at Weis Markets, located at 1109-11 Main Union Center Hwy, in Endicott.
