God’s Love We Deliver Celebrates Special Evening at Lisa and James Cohen’s Hamptons Estate
Every year, God’s Love We Deliver hosts its annual Midsummer Night Drinks event to support its lifesaving, medically tailored meal program that delivers nutritious food directly to New Yorkers suffering from severe and chronic illness. This year’s soiree was held on Saturday evening at the oceanfront East Hampton estate of Galerie Magazine Founder and Editorial Director Lisa Fayne Cohen and husband, James Cohen.
William Henn Appointed Chief of the University Police Department at SUNY Cobleskill
Willam Henn was sworn in as chief of the New York State University Police Department at SUNY Cobleskill during a ceremony on campus July 11. Henn comes to the College after serving four years with University Police at SUNY Oneonta, including as Interim Chief for one year. He will assume duties from Interim Chief Frank Lawrence in overseeing the 10-person department and staff operating under the College’s Office for Student Development.
Watervliet names new city court judge
Jasmine Norman has been appointed as the new judge for Watervliet City Court. Mayor Charles Patricelli selected Norman to replace Peter Torncello, who is retiring. Norman has a bachelor’s degree in economics and a minor in government from Smith College and a law degree from SUNY Buffalo Law School. She currently works as deputy general counsel litigator for the New York State Office of Cannabis Management.
