Lakeville, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Dakota County Sheriff's Office is reporting an apparent drowning. Very little information has been released, but the Sheriff's Office has indicated that deputies responded to an active water incident at Antlers Park in Lakeville late Saturday afternoon. The report indicated a man had gone underwater in Lake Marion and did not resurface.

Minnesota Man Vanished in River After Rescuing His Children
Elk River, MN (KROC-AM News) - A search effort continues this afternoon along the Mississippi River on the northwestern edge of the Twin Cities. The Sherburne County Sheriff's Office says the search was launched late Friday morning after deputies responded to a section of the river in Elk River after receiving reports that a man had gone underwater and failed to resurface. The 911 call came in around 11:45 AM.
