Man and Woman Found Dead in Minnesota Apartment, Police and BCA Investigating
Savage, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities in the Twin Cities are investigating the deaths of a man and woman whose bodies were found in a Minnesota apartment complex. A news release issued by the Savage Police Department says officers made the body discovery during a welfare check that was conducted around 10:30 Wednesday morning.
Local Photographs Wanted For Postcards To Promote Paynesville
PAYNESVILLE (WJON News) -- A local community is asking for photographs to help promote the city. Paynesville will be printing postcards featuring submitted pictures for local lodging to have on hand so people can mail them while they stay in town or bring home as a souvenir. The hope is the postcards will encourage people to visit the area and then showcase some of the area's attractions.

The Sartell Post 277 defeated they cross town rivals Sauk Rapids Post 254, they out hit them eleven to six. They collected three doubles and they had eight players that collected hits. Their starting pitcher was Wes Thompson, he threw 2 2/3 innings, he gave up four hits, one run, two walks and he recorded one strikeout. Carter Stutsman threw 1 1/3 innings, he gave up two hits, four runs, two walks and he recorded one strikeout. Wes Johnson threw three innings in relief to earn the win, he recorded three strikeouts.
