    South Carolina Peach Festival continues with parade, dessert contest, what to know to go

    Peach lovers, music enthusiasts, and those who cherish family-friendly events won't want to miss the annual South Carolina Peach Festival in Gaffney this weekend.

    This vibrant event offers delicious peach-themed treats, live music, and fun activities for all ages to create lasting memories while celebrating the peach harvest.

    Talent Night is on Thursday, July 18, at 7 p.m. at Limestone University, 115 College Drive.

    The Dessert Contest will be held on Friday, July 19, at 5 p.m. at the Visitor's Events Center downtown in the county administration parking lot.

    A kickoff party will also be held at 5 p.m. at Jolly Park, 102 Railroad Ave. The party will feature music, food vendors, carnival rides, and arts and crafts.

    Concerts at Jolly Park will kick off with the National Anthem by Bre Surratt at 6 p.m.

    Raybandz Sax & Company will entertain the crowd from 7-8 p.m., and Bre Surratt will return to the stage from 8-8:30 p.m.

    The evening will conclude with a performance by Earl V & Co. from 8:30-10:30 p.m.

    On Saturday, July 20, at the County Admin Parking Lot, visitors can view arts and crafts starting at 9 a.m.

    The South Carolina Peach Festival Parade will kick off at 10 a.m. on Main Street in Gaffney.

    Wrestling, sponsored by Little's Electric and Carolina Collision, will start at 1 p.m. in Jolly Park.

    The Peach Festival Pageant will start at 2 p.m. at Limestone University.

    Enjoy music, food vendors, and carnival rides in Jolly Park starting at 5 p.m. The Car Show will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

    Live entertainment will be available in Jolly Park, starting with the New Talent Night Winner at 4 p.m., followed by Jazzy from 5-6 p.m., Jon Hatfield from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and the Craig Henry Band from 8-9 p.m. Finally, Dirty Grass Soul will perform from 9:30-10:30 p.m.
