Laura Whiting, 95, of Liberty, Pa, passed away on July 23, 2024, at Broad Acres Nursing Home in Wellsboro, Pa. She was born on September 3, 1928, in Muncy, Pa, a daughter of Charles A. and Hazel (Phillips) Bachman. Laura was the wife of the late Wellington Whiting with whom she shared 41 years of matrimony before his death on May 23, 1986. She worked as the plant manager at Liberty Lingerie Sewing Factory in Liberty, Pa and enjoyed crocheting and gardening. Laura was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Liberty, Pa.
