    Alachua County Public Schools will host summer job fairs for teachers on June 13 and June 24

    ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – Alachua County Public Schools is excited to announce two upcoming Teacher Job Fairs in June, offering fantastic opportunities for educators to join our dedicated team. District contracts will be offered to qualified candidates on the spot. Teachers of all grade levels and subjects and career changers are welcome.

    June 13 – Rawlings Elementary School (3500 NE 15th St., Gainesville, FL 32609)
    Time: 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

    This in-person job fair is exclusively for Rawlings Elementary, which is transitioning to a year-round calendar for the 2024-2025 year. Interested candidates will have the chance to interview directly with school administrators. Preplanning for the new school year begins on July 8, with the first day of school on July 16.

    June 24 – Virtual Job Fair (register at https://cfplus.page.link/SGWF )
    Time: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

    This online job fair will feature multiple schools from across the district, including A.Q. Jones, Alachua, Idylwild, Hawthorne, Lake Forest, Lanier, Metcalfe, Rawlings, Shell, Terwilliger, and Williams. Candidates will have the opportunity to interview with representatives from these schools and explore various teaching positions.
