GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Below are the updated City of Gainesville traffic impacts scheduled for July 12-19, 2024.

New Notices

NW 12th St.: Northwest 12th Street will be closed (with detours) from Northwest Fourth Avenue and Northwest Fifth Avenue from July 15-18.

SW 12th St.: Southwest 12th Street will be closed (with detours) from West University Avenue to Southwest Alligator Alley from July 15-17.

SW 12th St.: Southwest 12th Street will be closed to thru traffic only, between Southwest First Avenue and Southwest Alligator Alley from July 15-17.

Continuing Notices

NW Sixth Ave.: Northwest Sixth Avenue, between Northwest 13th Street and Northwest 12th Terrace, will be closed until Aug. 1.

NW 12th Ter.: Northwest 12th Terrace will be closed except for local traffic between Northwest Seventh Avenue to Northwest Sixth Avenue until Aug. 1.

NW 12th Dr.: Northwest 12th Drive is one-way southbound only from Northwest Fifth Avenue to Northwest Third Avenue, ending Aug. 1.

SW 10th St.: Southwest 10th Street, between West University Avenue and Southwest First Avenue, the northbound lane will be closed and only have southbound traffic on Southwest 10th Street, from April 3 until August 15, 2024.

Note: All lane and road closures are subject to change due to unforeseen conditions, such as inclement weather.

• Northwest 13th Street at Northwest Fifth Avenue (29.655730, -82.339222) Daytime lane closures Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for curb and sidewalk construction.
• Southwest Archer Road (State Road 24) from Southwest 63 ^rd Boulevard to Southwest 134 ^th Street (29.625095803295046, -82.3745454761355) Daytime westbound lane closures weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for utility work.
• Southwest Second Avenue (State Road 26A) just east of Southwest 34 ^th Street (29.650335, -82.372042) Continuous lane closures and traffic shifts for utility repairs. A full pedestrian detour will be in place during the entire duration of construction.
• State Road 20 (Southeast Hawthorne Road) at U.S. 301 (State Road 200) Daytime lane closures Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for routine overpass maintenance.
• State Road 41 from Levy County Line to State Road 24 (FIN 207798-7-52-01) (29.511179506314434, -82.50570042936268) Nighttime lane closures Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. for road work.
• U.S. 41 (State Road 25) at Santa Fe River (29.853033159502914, -82.60845074492423) Daytime lane closures with flaggers Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for routine bridge maintenance.
• West University Avenue (State Road 26) just east of Northwest 10 ^th Street (29.652058093158146, -82.33485454512565) Daytime eastbound lane closures Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for concrete work.
