    Have you seen Maria Gomez-Perez?

The search for a missing Georgia girl has now expanded to several states, including Texas. Here's what we know.

12-year-old Georgia girl missing for over a month

Maria Gomez-Perez, 12, was reported missing from Gainesville, Georgia on May 30. She had been last seen in the driveway of her home the previous day.

Maria stands at 5'3" and weighs 100-110 pounds. She has brown eyes and long black hair.

Local law enforcement at the Hall County Sheriff's Office have collaborated with the FBI, Homeland Security and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, among other agencies, to look for the missing girl. Resources such as intelligence, translators and drones have been used in attempts to locate Maria.

Although tips in the case have declined, Hall County Sheriff Gerald Couch says authorities are still determined to bring Maria home. According to a July 12 update, digital evidence as well as evidence collected from the search has "provided hope for a break in the case and continue to be the best investigative resource thus far."

"The sheriff’s office and our law enforcement partners continue to develop more information from social media, the community as well as all other avenues," Couch said in a statement. "Our only goal is to find Maria and bring her home. If anyone has information about Maria’s disappearance and has not shared it, I would implore them to contact us."

In the sixth week since Maria went missing, Couch said the community has played a significant role in keeping the public aware of the case.

"Whether pledging reward money, organizing signage or sharing fliers, each one of you is appreciated," Couch said. "It is also important to note that scammers have tried to take advantage of this incident using social media. Please remember that the sheriff’s office social media platforms should be your point of reference for legitimate and accurate information on the case."

Search expands to 7 other states

In addition to Georgia, law enforcement has expanded the search to Texas, Alabama, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, South Carolina and Tennessee.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information regarding Maria's whereabouts to call its Special Investigations Unit at 770-503-3232 or email intelrequest@hallcounty.org. People may also report tips by dialing 911. There is now a $50,000 reward for anyone who helps locate Maria.
