Gainesville police searching for man who went missing days ago
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The Gainesville Police Department is asking the public for help in its search for a missing man. Kenneth Holland, 34, went missing early on Monday in the Tower Heights area off Pearl Nix Parkway and John Morrow Parkway, according to the police department. Police believe he may be in an “altered state of mind.”

A sheriff's deputy has died days after he was shot while serving a search warrant in west Georgia, authorities said.The Carroll County Sheriff's Office announced late Friday that Investigator Taylor Bristow died from his injuries from the shooting Tuesday.
