Following a long and successful stint with the Minnesota Vikings, the former undrafted free agent signed a three-year, $25 million deal with Carolina to be Bryce Young’s top option. With D.J. Moore on the Chicago Bears, Thielen stepped up as the only reliable weapon in the passing game. MOWIT volunteers lend hand at Baker transitional house for women
St. Louis – Volunteers with Missouri Women in Trades (MOWIT) helped demo and rebuild a plumbing stack at one of the Baker House’s transitional homes for women on June 29 and 30. A group of female Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 562 members led the project. The house, located in south St. Louis City, is owned by Keyway Center for Diversion and Reentry, which provides housing and wrap-around services for women reentering the St. Louis community from jail or prison. Investigation underway after body found floating in Missouri River
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - An investigation is underway after a body was found floating in the Missouri River. A spokesperson for the Kansas City Fire Department said KCFD was called to the Missouri River at 6:20 p.m. Monday after receiving a call about a body floating in the river. When firefighters arrived at the riverfront boat ramp KCFD “quickly spotted” the body.

One more day of heat is in the forecast with Heat Advisories once again in effect for the Lakes Region with Heat Index readings up to 110 possible in some areas. A cold front is approaching the area that will bring a marginal chance of severe thunderstorms tonight with some areas potentially getting heavy rain. A Flood Watch has been issued for most of the Missouri Lakes Region including the Branson area for tonight into Wednesday morning.
