Wednesday's night thunderstorm brought some of the hardest winds I've ever witnessed. The National Weather Service cited 80 mph winds at the Missoula Montana Airport and over 100 mph winds at the apex of Mount Sentinel. Powerful winds left behind a path of broken trees, downed power lines, failing traffic lights and debris as far as the eye can see.

Lunch in the Park resumed late Wednesday morning with a full street of food trucks, a park full of hungry music lovers and a fantastic acoustic show by this week's headliner, Cruz Contreras on the main stage/gazebo.
