Unraveling The Chaos: East Babcock And South Wallace Intersection Woes In Bozeman
If you frequent the east side of downtown Bozeman, you've no doubt encountered drivers blundering their way through this odd intersection at East Babcock and South Wallace. It's a disaster. I mean, it wouldn't be if everybody just drove through it correctly. But we don't drive through this intersection correctly. Hardly ever. Add narrow streets to the ignorance and I'm AMAZED there aren't more fender benders at this intersection.
MHS Offers Free State Capitol Tours
The Montana Historical Society (MTHS) is now offering free tours daily that explore the art, architecture, and history of Montana’s Capitol. “We’ve been delighted by the interest in our Capitol tours so far this summer and are excited to increase the times and days they’ll be offered,” said Darby Bramble, museum education officer at MTHS. “Since the beginning of June, we’ve seen more than 600 people participate in our guided tours.”

Injured hiker rescued on "M" Trail near Bozeman
BOZEMAN, Mont. - On July 2, 2024, at 8:51 PM Gallatin County 911 Dispatch received a call from a hiker in need of assistance. The hiker had been trail running with a group when they injured their leg. The hiker provided his location indicating he was close to the top of Baldy Mountain. The hiker indicated they were in a group with three other individuals who were assisting them down the mountain.
