Local restaurant vandalized with racist graffiti; local businesses pitch in to help clean it up
A local, beloved Mediterranean restaurant was vandalized yesterday, but thanks to other local businesses, the racist remarks have already been cleaned off their windows. Lavash Cafe, located at 2985 N. High St. in Clintonville since 2008, posted on their Instagram account that someone vandalized their doors with racist graffiti, but that the community is rallying behind them. “We love our Clintonville neighborhood because of moments like this,” Lavash posted. “Last night, someone messaged us after discovering racist graffiti on our windows and new vinyl bakery door.”
