    Three injured in double motorcycle crash on U.S. 36

    COSHOCTON − The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office reported a two-motorcycle traffic crash from shortly after 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the 48000 block of U.S. 36 in Tuscarawas Township, according to a press release.

    Authorities said in the release that David Guelda, 35, of Kentucky, was attempting to make a U-turn from the eastbound lanes to the westbound lanes when he was struck in the rear by Robert Hall, 32, of Galloway. Both men were ejected from the motorcycles, along with Guelda's passenger, Brooke Gilbert, 32, also of Kentucky.

    Guelda and Hall were transported to Genesis Coshocton Medical Center with unknown injuries. Gilbert was transported to Genesis Hospital of Zanesville with unknown injuries. The release didn't say if helmets were worn.

    Assisting on scene were Coshocton County Emergency Medical Services, Three Rivers Fire District, Prince’s Wrecker Service and REACT.
