Tractor pull at fairgrounds in Trenton set for July 27
A tractor pull is set to take place at the North Central Missouri Fairgrounds on Saturday, July 27th at 7 pm. The fairgrounds are located at 1415 Oklahoma Ave. The event will feature a beer garden, with food concessions provided by the Lions Club. General admission for the event is priced at $15 per adult and $5 per child aged 6-10 years old. Children 5 years old and under will be admitted free of charge.
Trenton Municipal Utilities committee calls for review of electric rate study
The Trenton Municipal Utilities (TMU) committee is seeking another review of last year’s electric rate study. This decision follows the committee’s examination of TMU financial reports during a meeting held Tuesday afternoon. Utility Director Ron Urton noted that the electric fund has been decreasing. Urton plans to update information on the electric rate study and present it at a future Trenton City Council meeting.
