Gamescom 2024 attendees can try the game out this week. Earlier this month, Pearl Abyss announced that a playable demo of the upcoming open-world action-adventure game Crimson Desert will be available to play at Gamescom 2024 from August 21 until August 25. The developer has now posted a seven-minute-long gameplay video highlighting the White Horn boss battle which will appear in the demo build.

Barely 3 weeks after its $90m flop, the Borderlands movie is reportedly giving up on cinemas and going straight to streaming

The Borderlands movie looks set to hit streaming services as early as this month, if numerous reports are to be believed. Presumably because of how badly it flopped in cinemas, drawing in a paltry $14 million on its opening weekend, the Borderlands movie is apparently going to be available to stream on August 30th. Lionsgate hasn’t said anything officially, but multiple sites (The Hollywood Handle, Screen Time, When to Stream) are all listing the 30th of August as its expected arrival date.
