Capcom had announced back in June that Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics would be dropping later this year, but it wasn’t clear when exactly that would be. Now, during today’s Indie World Showcase + Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, we’ve learned that there will be two release dates for the compilation: one digital and one physical. The digital release will be on September 12, 2024, while the physical release will be on November 22, 2024.

For Metal Gear fans, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is obviously the next big thing to look forward to after a torturously prolonged hiatus for the series, but questions about other potential projects never really fully die down. For instance, fans have been waiting for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots to become available on modern platforms – or hell, any platform other than the PS3, which is what it launched for in 2008 – for what feels like forever.
